About Marla

Hello! I am the mother of a 21 and a 23-year-old who kept me running around for the past 20 years with their many extra curricular activities (ice hockey, gymnastics, diving, choir, theatre) and I loved every minute of it! Throughout my life, I have worked with children as a field hockey coach, group home residential counselor, children's mental health case manager, teacher/helper for Sunday school and as a substitute educational assistant for my local school district. I was a stay at home mom with my children for 8 years and then worked for 12 years as a Child Care Giver/Babysitter at my local YMCA caring for children 3 months to 12 years old. Once the Y shut down due to COVID, I began working as a private nanny and I absolutely love it! I will bring energy, maturity, years of experience and structure with me to your home. I look forward to engaging your children in fun activities such as: arts and crafts, games, sports, playing outside, trips to the park, playground, library, etc!
