About Marla

Hi! My name is Marla and I am excited about to opportunity to teach languages. My love for languages comes from my family's diverse background. Spanish is my mother language and I have a Panamanian accent. I am fluent in both Spanish and English making it easier to understand a non-native Spanish speaker and be understood. In addition to languages I love music. I taught myself guitar and piano before joining a music school here in Boston. I'm an intermediate player with some experience performing live. I'm adaptable and highly organized. Once I discovered the best way I learn, I felt more confident in my own efficacy. I'm looking forward to teaching others the joy of learning and practicing a new or forgotten skill.
