About Markeyta

Hi! I'm Markeyta and I have cared for children in some capacity for over 8 years. I have been a nanny for children as early as 3 months but I also have ample experience with newborns. I recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri where I worked as the Education Programs Coordinator for Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey. I worked with children from ages 5-18 all throughout the community. I was also a Parent Aide for over 5 years- helping with the reunification of families that had been separated for various reasons. I worked closely with caseworkers, foster parents/guardians, parents, and children, supervising parent visits and fostering a safe environment for all parties. I enjoy reading (English and Spanish), doing arts and crafts, and doing outdoor activities. I am good with pets as well, especially dogs! I am an actor as well, so I am very arts-centered and I love keeping little ones engaged throughout the day! If you have any questions, I'd love to chat!
