I'm a positive, supportive, encouraging caregiver for all ages and nearly all diagnoses. I am not a nurse but have an allied health and human service background. Specialties I've worked in: communication disorders (audiology), ABA with autistic children, chronic and severe mental illness, adult/teen psychiatric treatment, and treatment for substance dependence. I have experience with taking vital signs, recording behaviors, oxygen, supervising medication taking, first aid, bathing, dressing, toileting, Hoyer lift, overhead lift, walkers, wheelchairs, transport chairs. I can easily lift and carry young children. I need to avoid heavy lifting and constant bending. I have reliable transportation, can cook, have CPR/first aid, am fully vaxed, have current PA and FBI clearances. I love to read and play games, support people in enjoyment and participation in everyday activities as well as outings.
