About Mariyam

Hi! My name is Mariyam, and I'm a dedicated, nurturing babysitter based in Culver City. As a full-time RN, I bring a wealth of experience in healthcare and child care to every family I work with. I have a background in psychology from UCLA (2016) and a second bachelors degree in nursing from Northeastern University (2019). I grew up helping in my mom's daycare, which she has had for nearly 15 years. This gave me extensive hands-on experience with infants, toddlers, and young children. I've also served as a teacher's assistant for pre-K - 8 grade, and as a camp counselor at UCLA. In addition, I worked at a pediatric clinic and have experience with kids from newborns until 21 years of age. I'm CPR certified and happy to help with light meal prep, homework, bedtime routines, and creative play. I am not comfortable with driving children around so I do not offer this service. Availability: Weekday evenings 5-8 p.m. & weekends (flexible with notice)
