As a first time parent, it’s never easy to return to work, leaving your baby in someone else’s care. Maritza made the transition back to work seamless because I knew my child was in good hands. She is sweet, attentive, proactive and trustworthy. Maritza started caring for my son (18Mo) full-time since he was 4.5 months old. From preparing his bottles, making fresh meals, helping him take his first steps, and teaching him new words in both English and Spanish— it’s been a blessing to not only watch him learn so much from her, but to learn from her as well as a first time parent. Responsibilities included: Feeding: Prepped frozen breastmilk, prepared age appropriate BLW meals and snacks, washed and sterilized bottles, administered medicine when sick Diapering: Changed diapers, bath time, maintained consistent nap/bed time routine Activities: Planned age appropriate activities, organized play dates, took child to gym class, library, story time, playground Laundry: Washed, folded, and organized children's clothing Light housekeeping: Cleaned up after activities, made beds, and tidied up play areas I wholeheartedly recommend Maritza as a nanny.
