I have always loved working with children. They are like little sponges. They are so eager to learn, and everything is amazing to them. You can act like a goofball, and they think it's great. I baby-sat as a teen, and I have been working in child care for more than 15 years. I worked at two center-based child care facilities working with infants all the way up to after-school aged children. I then had my own in-home center.

Marissa has worked with me as a paraprofessional for elementary students for the past 3+ years. She has worked with students with varying needs including ADHD, learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is able to create materials and learning activities for her students and to follow lesson plans provided to her. Marissa is very caring and goes out of her way to make sure her students have what they need.
