About Marissa

Hello! I'm Marissa, and I'm on an exciting journey in childcare and mental health counseling. I am currently pursuing my Masters at Kean University in Mental Health Counseling after graduating with my Bachelors from The University of Alabama in 2022. I bring 9 years of diverse experience working closely with children. From coaching young all star cheerleaders, to caring for 8 adolescent girls in a residential group home, and being a behavioral therapist for children on the autism spectrum, I've nurtured a deep understanding of childhood development and individual needs. I have a dedication to supporting children with empathy and expertise. My life revolves around the wellness of children. I also have personal experience navigating food allergies and special needs as an individual with celiac disease, I bring a unique perspective to nutrition and care. I am certified in CPR and Handle with Care. I'm dedicated to providing a safe, enriching environment where every child can flourish.
