About Marissa

I am currently in between jobs in the non-profit field and looking for a temporary nannying position while I am job searching. I have a degree in art history. I have 10+ years experience working with children. I was a full-time nanny from 2020 through 2023, in addition to babysitting throughout high school and college and into my young adulthood. I have experience with children of all ages, from 4 months to teenagers. I have extensive experience with toddlers and preschoolers, and they're my favorite! I was a lead supervisor for the after-school program and a frequent substitute teacher/teacher's aide for pre-k, kindergarten, 1st grade, and 7th & 8th grades at a private school September 2018 through February 2020. I was a very active volunteer/mentor and work study student through a community partnership at an elementary school while in college, and served as a summer-break nanny for the same family in 2016 and 2017. I also grew up volunteering at my church's nursery.
