Hi there! I am an elementary school art teacher currently in the North/Central side of Austin TX. I attended Texas State university and have worked in childcare (ages 3 months to 11 yrs) for about 4 years. I believe in every moment counts with kids and every learning opportunity can be made fun! Currently I am on summer break and just looking for sitting jobs! I am comfortable with any age and up to 3 children at most. A couple of things that are important to me and what I practice when kids are in my care: *Tons of talking, describing and asking open ended questions * Sensory play, using real life objects and limited screen time * Spending time outside, dancing and enjoying some form of nature *Enjoying art & crafting * Reading books!!
