About Marissa

Hi! My name is Marissa I am 24 years old and looking to care for some kiddos part time. I have 8 years of experience as a childcare provider. I started babysitting at the age of 14, began working at a daycare at 16, up until I graduated college in 2023! Although I am working at a law firm, I genuinely have missed working with children. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I love playing with children. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules, but I always follow the parents' lead. I believe in open communication with parents and will always keep them informed about their child's day and any issues that arise. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ages 0 to 11. Initially when I worked at a daycare, I cared for infants 0 to 12 months for about two years. I then transitioned into the toddler room, where I cared for ages 1-3 years old. I have also cared for older children, which include my nephews! I'm looking forward to this new opportunity!
