About Marissa

I am a sophomore Bio-Medical Engineering Student, Currently attending Rowan University. For tutoring; I have taught at Mathnasium for 2 years, and have experience private tutoring. For piano lessons: I have personally studied piano since I was 4 (over 14 years). I currently also teach Piano Lessons at Musically Speaking Studios in Blackwood, but would also be willing to teach privately (at my house or at another's house). My philosophy when it comes to learning (especially in school) is that every kid has the capacity to succeed in their own way, whether that means a kid needs to be additionally challenged or needs additional help to understand. My goal is to help kids realize the best way to learn for themselves, that that success is subjective and reachable, and that they CAN do it!
