About Marissa

I am currently a graduate student enrolled in Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program with multiple years of experience tutoring children of all ages. My passion for working with children stems from the positive experiences I had in previous tutoring roles and my desire to make a positive impact on their lives. I strive to tailor my teaching approach to each child's preferred learning style. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, and I make it a point to provide regular updates on their child's sessions. I follow the parents' preferred communication method to ensure they are well-informed about their child's progress. I have recent experience with teaching young children to read and teaching high school algebra. I am currently CPR/AED certified in basic life support so that I can ensure your children stay safe!
