Hi, my name is Marissa. I have 10+ years of childcare experience in just about every aspect of the field. From 6 years as a lead teacher in a daycare, 3 years working as a senior MHW in a psychiatric hospital.. primarily on the adolescent unit, 3 years as a personal nanny. I have been with my current family for the last 2 years and I get the pleasure of caring for a lovely, fun and energetic toddler. I am CPR, First Aide, MAT certified and TCI trained (therapeutic crisis intervention) I am in the process of obtaining my degree in the human services field. I am a lover of books and animals, as well as adventuring outside. Weather it's a walk up the block, bike riding, hiking, or just simply hanging in the back yard. I believe fresh air and adventures are good for the soul. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, fun-loving, adventurous atmosphere for the wonderful little humans that I am lucky enough to care for.

Marissa has been our nanny for almost three years and we pinch ourselves daily that we found someone so loving, smart, and fun to care for our baby who's now a toddler! She's responsible and creative, always finding new projects and activities to keep our little man learning. She's also super easy to be around. Any family would be lucky to have her care for their children!
