I'd describe my personality as friendly, patient and conscientious. I like caring for seniors because of their stories, wisdom and definitely their sense of humor! I have a natural inclination to care for others and believe in kindness, respect and dignity. I'm now 35, but I started caring for seniors when I was 15 years old! Starting with my grandparents, then their neighbors, from there, personal references allowed me to provide private care until I was 21 years old. I had obtained HHA, CNA and MORC certification by then, and progressed to complete my ADN + AS in mental health/social work at 23. I returned to private care while working PT in different care-focused organizations. I obtained HAWC certification for geriatric nutrition. I would say I have the most experience with neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiovascular diseases, as well as obesity. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, clean, exercise, read, and build things!

Marissa cared for my late mother with copd in 2013, my late father hired her through one of his buddies recommendations. She was my mom’s best friend and made it easy. I truly appreciated the care and support she gave my mom, and my dad too. Our family made a life long friend, she’s a smart and caring person.
