About Marissa

Hello! I am Marissa. I graduated from Westminster College in May 2016 with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. During my four years of college, I have had over 400 hours of experience in the classroom including field experience, practicum, and student teaching. I have also volunteered many hours in preschools and in after-school tutoring programs, and even coaching. For two years, I worked at a summer day camp at a church in Waynesburg, PA. The day camp cares for children ranging from age 3 to 12. During the school year of 2017, I was a teacher's aid at South Fayette School District and I worked directly with four specific special education students in the classroom daily. I have had experience babysitting for over 6 years and I absolutely love actively playing and connecting with the children I babysit! I'll have a blast doing any activity with your child!
