We did hire Marissa initially. Two days before our trip, we had scheduled a meeting and greeting with myself, my dogs, and Marissa. She responded to my reminder with a follow-up text saying that she had Covid and could not take care of my dogs. Just like that. I doubt she came down with Covid within that 30-minute response window, and I consider her unreliable. She really put us in an unfortunate situation, and we were scrambling for a dog sitter.
