About Marissa

I'm a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist with eight years of experience working with children of all ages in a pediatric long-term care facility. I've always been passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children, which led me to this fulfilling career. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and am happy to follow their preferred communication method. I also believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. My favorite types of games to play with children include outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and technology-based games and apps. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I hope to meet you and your family soon!
