To put it simply: childcare is a passion in my life and it has been since my brother was born when I was 7 years old. I loved being a big sister to all of my siblings and now I love being a nanny. No other career has proven to be as rewarding and satisfying to me as childcare. I started as a babysitter when I was very young and was a summer nanny when I was 14 years old. While it proved to be challenging, I was great at my job and I loved it. I went on to become a teacher in a nursery for several years in addition to getting some experience working as a supervisor at a daycare. I have also worked as a nanny for several different families. I also have some medical background as an EMT so you can feel comfortable knowing that while you are away, a loving and prepared nanny is always there to save the day if needed. I am now a mommy to a wonderful 6-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy. I am available during school hours without him and outside of school hours with him.

Marissa was an amazing Nanny. She became part of the family with how caring and responsible she was with my kids. I have two boy who are special needs and she was incredibly patient with them. She was even proactive with their treatment, doing research to see how their diets affected their condition and made the appropriate adjustments. The kids and I adore her and still keep in touch with her since she moved from the area. She helped keep me sane with my (and the kids') busy schedule. We know the family that discovers her will treasure her as much as we do.
