About Marissa

I used to frequently volunteer in the infant/pre-k classes at my old church back in my hometown and found my passion for caring for children around that time. I currently am a server/bartender but looking to step out of the industry. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, caring, fun! I like working with kids because I enjoy learning about how children think and grow to understand the world. I also enjoy teaching and helping kids to be themselves! I started working with kids when I was around 11 where I first started watching pre-school age children after school for my teachers. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, bake, boulder, hike, see friends, and spend time with my fiancé and our dog. My skills include patience, understanding big emotions and how to help the child go through them, and coming up with fun games and activities.
