Hello my name is Marissa and my child care experience is vast and diverse. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have been working with children since I was old enough to babysit. I have worked at MESD Outdoor School, Bi-lingual public schools, Preschools, Daycare, Non-profits, After School Programs, Summer Camps, Agencies, and Tutoring Services. I am registered in the Oregon Registry and am First Aid CPR certified. My focus is environmental education and I love to instill a love of nature with every child I care for and make sure we get daily time in nature. My age range is from several weeks old all the way to high schools I have mentored. I love to cook, play guitar, clean, make art, read, hike, garden, bike, sow, and share my passions with every child who takes interest in these things as well. Marissa nannied our daughter 2 days a week from age 9-15 months. She is imaginative, engaged, instinctive, and our daughter always had a smile on her face the moment she walked in the door! We would love to have her with our family any time!
