About Marisol

Hi! I'm Marisol, I'm currently attending classes at San Diego City College, and I plan on transferring to SDSU to major in elementary education. I have nearly 3 years of working with children of many ages and I'm very passionate about creating a peaceful and positive space for children to grow in as well as just enjoy being a kid in. A little bit about me is that I swam competitively for 8 years, as well as taught as a swim teacher for 2 years. During this time I was able to learn a lot about how children work and how to create a uniquely beneficial space for each child! It was also here that I discovered my love for teaching others, specifically younger children. Some of my favorite things to do are go on walks, do arts and crafts, find a new book, and try new foods. I hope to carry over my experience babysitting as well as working as a swim instructor and continue on with my love for working with children!
