Hello, I am a mother to two awesome boys, ages 2 and 5. I recently relocated with my family from New Jersey to Whittier, California. I left behind my position as Habilitation Specialist/ Supervisor at a dayhab center working with Adults with Autism and other disabilities. I provided 1:1 and group care to individuals on a daily basis teaching life skills including socializing appropriately and safely, money management, and communication. I really enjoyed working there and gained so much experience that has also helped me become a better mother. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, I was unable to do much discovering including finding work. As a mother of 2, I worry about the safety and health of my children during these times and child care is questionable! I'm sure this sounds familiar to you as well and I will follow all safety precautions as advised to ensure your families safety.
