I have had senior care experience with my grandma for three summers. She suffered from dementia and Alzheimer's, but still carried a great attitude. I would assist in feeding, cleaning, and dressing her. I loved spending time with her and just being a happy face for her to see. More recently, the past three years I have cared for a special needs child. Both her and my grandma hold a special place in my heart and have taught me how to be caring and compassionate. My senior experience really started when I would volunteer at the nursing home my mom worked at. I have a soft spot for the elderly and would love to help!
