About Marisa

Hi, my name is Marisa. My son and I moved to San Ramon from Chicago about three years ago. During Covid, I decided to leave my corporate career and focus solely on homeschooling. The amount of progress my son made in just a short period of time was unbelievable and through word of mouth, I have now begun teaching other children in the area as well. As a math major, teaching math is my speciality, although we cover many other subjects including: Science, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Grammar, Social Studies, Geography, Financial Literacy, Typing, and Foreign Language. The programs we cover help them learn at their own pace, and my current students have progressed phenomenally! Their progress is also tracked, which the parents love to see. My hours are flexible. I'd prefer to tutor virtually, especially for families further away, although I am open to any location. Feel free to message me with your children(s) needs and your availability. I can also provide references if needed!
