About Marina

Hi there! My name is Marina, I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington but looking for some pet care jobs in Asheville this summer. I have taken classes at the Asheville Humane Society that are necessary for proper pet care. Feel free to reach out about any questions/concerns. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, caring, and confident. I like working with animals because building strong relationships with cats and dogs can feel so rewarding. I have also learned that it is a great way to stay active and go outside! I'm looking for a job that will keep me busy and will also give me a sense of accomplishment. I started working with animals when I was in the 7th grade, volunteering for the Humane Society. I learned the techniques for proper pet care of both cats and dogs, newborns to seniors. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my friends, go to the beach or on hikes, and spend time with my family.
