I'd describe myself as optimistic, compassionate, and creative. I like tutoring because I can foster a love of reading in the kids I teach, and I always end up learning something new myself! I started tutoring when I graduated from undergrad in 2018. I went to a residential graduate school, meaning most of the semester I took online courses, so I filled those gaps by tutoring children in the neighborhood. I stopped when I moved to Arlington in 2021, and I've missed the work deeply. Time to get back in the saddle! In my spare time, I like to read books of all genres, work on my novel, and explore the city with friends. I've also recently started crocheting blankets for charities like Project Linus and Warm Up America.
