About Marilynn

Hi my name is Marilynn and I just recently graduated from Sacramento State University with my bachelors in communication sciences and disorder (Speech Therapy) and minor in Child Development. I always knew I wanted to work with kids in some capacity, I just didn't know in which way. It was until recently when I started to work in early child development that I knew I would like to work with kids under the ages of 5. I currently work as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at a school, where I provide hands-on support to help children with diverse needs reach their full potential. I have experience in working in childcare with ages of 6 months to 5 years old. My services include craft, tutoring, and have knowledge of a bit ASL. Also, I have experience cooking, I have a food-handler certification where I knowledge with food safety and precaution. I can work as an household assistant where I could cook and clean.
