About Marilyn

I'm an eclectic, experienced and professional tutor. I have tutored in high school and college for both American and International students. I tutor grammar, composition and public speaking. The student is my focus so that I can accommodate personality n academic needs. I'm looking for a job that allows me to get to know the student n allows us to grow In my spare time, I like to go to Theatre, walk in nature, watch films write comic characters. One thing you should know about me is I'm trustworthy. My skills include getting to personalize the lessons and adapting to the needs of the day. I believe the student is not just an intellectual being--but that the student is an interconnection of body, brain n soul--and is a social n cultural human being. I like taking the student habits and interests into the lesson to prevent boredom and disinterest. The arts are very important in connection to academics as well as sports and other social events.
