I worked six years for a company caring for adults with developmental disabilities. I was just a DSP (Direct Support Professional) for the first 3 years and then for the last 3 years I was a DSP Supervisor. I quit working there 12 years ago in 2011 to become a stay-at-home mom when I had my son. 10 years ago, I started fostering and adopted my 3 daughters. The oldest one is now almost 20 and has developmental delays, speech problems, seizures, etc. I am currently attending classes online to start LPN school.
