Hi! I'm a current nanny looking for a new position as the mom of my current family is transitioning to staying home. I am former preschool and kindergarten teacher of 16 years. I am also a mom to two children, which offers me perspective on the joys and challenges of parenting and I will treat your children as my own. My children will NOT be coming with me as they are in school/camp. I have plenty of backup care for illness/holidays/breaks. I am CPR/First Aid and MAT certified and have some knowledge of ASL. I can drive and have a car. I have a BA in psych and education. I am experienced with multiples and children with special needs and have great references. I available beginning June 4th with possible flexibility earlier/later. Hours: 35-45/week M/W/F: 7:15 a.m. - 5 p.m. (we can discuss a later end time. T/Th: 7:15-3 p.m. (possibly 3:30 depending on the family's proximity to Reston.) I ask for guaranteed hours, a contract of 1 year or more, and to be paid via payroll.
