Hi! I am a very reliable, patient, and creative person who has approximately 18 years of experience caring for children, from infants to teenagers. I have formal education in early childhood development. With me, your child will receive age-appropriate care. I used to manage a Maryland State Family Child Care license -at home- from 2015 thru 2017. A bilingual English-Spanish program, specialized in infants, toddlers and preschoolers. As a result of all my skills and experience, I'm able to provide a supervised, safe, stable and enrichment environment for your little one. Personally, I'm an organizer, planner, and multitasker, so minimum supervision is required. I'm driven by the passion of early education /childcare field. Marilyn is a dream come true & our prayers answered. She is the best caregiver we could have imagined for our daughter & as first-time parents (joined us when us was 5 months & is now 16 months). Marilyn encompasses all of the qualities in a caregiver that we hoped for – applies years of expertise/experience with babies & toddlers; leads with kindness, love & patience; is gentle & encouraging; instills core values, faith & has taught our daughter so much already in the year spent together; is respectable, trustworthy, & honest; has been a sounding board for us as new parents & navigating new dynamics; the list goes on… We are beyond grateful for the invaluable time that Marilyn has been with us & lasting bond created – our hearts our truly broken knowing that our time with her is cut short as we hoped our daughter & future children would grow up with her as the best example of a person we could hope for.
