About Mariia

I was born in Ukraine, but in 2010 I got married and moved to The USA. I started as a babysitter for a 3-year-old boy and continue until he was 6. During the summer, I spent my time working as a counselor at school camp. In 2005, I started college and on weekends I was English tutor for 2 boys for a year. I came to The USA as exchange student to be a counselor of arts and crafts for kids of different ages (6 to 15). Every semester we got teaching practice at Elementary, Middle and High school. After I moved here, I helped a family with 4 kids for 1 year. I loved it but they moved from the area. I have experience with infants and toddlers, also I was helping with boy since he was 6 who was diagnosed with autism. Now I'm a mom myself which adds on to my experience:) Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

As a first time mom, I was overwhelmed and tired pretty early after my son was born so I was relieved when I met Mariia. She started babysitting my baby when he was 6 weeks old, twice a week for about 4-5 hours. Mariia knows how to be around babies, has great intuition and I personally learned a lot from her. My son really enjoyed being around Mariia. I also appreciated her flexibility, she was always on time, and great in communication.
