I worked as a finance manager for 12 years before choosing to be a full time wife and mother for 23 years. To make learning fun, I volunteered as a Girl Scout leader (8 years), Sunday school teacher (5 years), room mom, soccer mom, dance mom, and little league softball mom. I am certified and volunteer (2015 - present) for HRET (Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy in Lemont) working with special needs kids. We focus on developing motor skills, core strengthening, increasing confidence and building self esteem. I also help train our riders to participate in the Equestrian Special Olympics. I will always encourage healthy snacks but, I do bake an awesome batch of cookies on request! (Just saying :) As an added bonus, I'm a great doggie walker and stroller pusher. I'm devoted to providing excellent child care while being consistent with the family's rules and lifestyle.

Marietta was a fantastic addition to our family! She cared for our daughter from when she was ~8 months old to 16 months. When she first started she jumped right in as if she had known us forever and our normally shy baby always had a big smile when she saw her come in the door. She did fun outings to the park (and sent us amazing photos) and established a consistent nap routine. She even taught our daughter some sign language. We were so sad to part ways but any family would be so very lucky to have her care for their children.
