I specialized in taking care of infants to grade school age. I use Montessori teachings. Practical living skills such as being able to set up their own meal table on or before age 2. Self-care such as use of potty chair, hand washing, brush teeth, feeding themselves using spoon and fork on or before age. Cognitive such as reading, problem solving. Social & emotional activities such as learning emotional flash cards, smiling, talking to people, waving, & others. Fine motor skills such as playing piano, buckles, buttons, and other activities. Safety of the children is my priority. I make sure their motor skills and senses such as hearing sight and so on are stimulated. My protocol is to change the diaper every 2 hrs or earlier if it is soiled before then. I definitely follow parent's instructions because all children have their own schedules to follow and ways to take care of. Consistency is absolutely important in childhood development.
