Mariel has watched my first son from 6 months to now (20 months) and has started watching my second son this month as well, who is 3 months old. Besides our own parents, she is the person we trust the most with our boys. She has exceeded all our expectations and has gone above and beyond to help them grow and develop, and she's created a really special relationship with them (and us!) in the process. She is just fantastic, always, ALWAYS engaged with them during their awake time, extremely respectful of our priorities for them and is truly a huge part of our "village". She gets them outside every day, and has helped to get them into routines that are age appropriate. She's helped us with plenty of tough milestones, including teething, dropping naps, introducing a potty, getting rid of the bottle, walking, talking, and now even starting to help teach words/colors/letter sounds. She is gentle, kind, super skilled, personable and any family would be lucky to have her in their corner.
