Hello, I am looking forward to getting to know your family! I am 34 years old and mom to 2 girls, currently living in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I've been babysitting since I was about 13 years old (on and off), it all started when my neighbors asked me to watch their kids after school and then all of a sudden I became the neighborhood babysitter. Anyone who knows me can confirm my love for children so you will feel peace knowing I care for them as my own. Over the last few years I have been a nanny to infants and toddlers but love all ages. I like to be outdoors (when weather permits) or inside doing crafts or playing games. I am also fluent in Spanish (first language) so I can teach your children a little as well! Mariela cared for our daughter 3 days per week during the summer months. She is truly incredible. Her calm and nurturing demeanor shines through in every interaction. She is so patient and kind through navigating 3 year old ‘big feelings’ and is always ready to get on the floor to facilitate play, learning, and creativity. She is extremely conscientious and makes a point to understand your parenting and family priorities and values. Mariela has been very attentive to our daughter and her needs, engaging in lots of fun-filled activities that my daughter was so excited to tell us about every evening. She filled us with a lot of trust, consistently punctual and communicative which made our busy lives that much easier. I would highly recommend Mariela!
