I cared for my mother, who had Alzheimer's, for 7 years until her time of Hospice. I have also cared for three different older gentleman and a couple in their 80s in the 5 years since. . I am also a spiritual director and Grief Recovery Method Specialist. Helping with housekeeping is absolutely fine (as well as having pets in the house)!

Marie is the absolute best! She took amazing care of my father when he was in his last year of life, living as a grieving widower, battling dementia and prostate cancer. Marie was so respectful of his pride as she helped care for his hygiene routine. She spent so much time chatting with our lonely dad who craved intelligent conversation with someone not related to him. She was not only there for my dad, but for my sister and me, as well, as we spent the days saying our goodbyes to him. Marie is exceptional with grief, leads with her heart, and has more compassion than anyone I’ve known. You’d be lucky to have Marie care for your parent.
