Stephanie has been a wonderful part of our family for over 6 years. She first began with our family in Manhattan as the nanny of our youngest daughter, C, from her infancy in 2014 through 2016, when Stephanie moved to Florida to be with her family. When Stephanie returned to the NY area in 2020, we re-hired her to continue taking care of Caroline (now 9) and our second daughter, Isabelle (now 5) on Long Island. Stephanie was a reliable caregiver across both periods. She was always punctual and willing to stay late even on short notice. She went above and beyond typical caregiver duties to handle things like laundry, household tidying and organization, and even holiday decorating, an area in which she’s truly talented! When she moved to Florida, she even went as far as finding a replacement for us from her network of friends, which was incredibly helpful. With our girls, Stephanie has been involved and caring. She’s always shown initiative and creativity in coming up with activities for our children, constantly coming up with new arts and crafts or building projects. In her interactions with us, Stephanie was communicative and receptive to feedback. Any time we were at work for the day, Stephanie provided updates on what both girls were up to and was sure to raise any questions she had. As our girls spent more of their time at school, she was proactive in asking us what additional household activities she could take on. Now that our girls are out of the house most of the day with school, sports, and other activities, our needs have changed, and we no longer require a full-time caregiver. We would love for Stephanie to find a new opportunity with another family. We know she’ll be a caring, reliable, hard-working addition to any family.
