About Marie

I'd describe my personality as calm, patient, and kind. I love working with kids because I get to form meaningful and impactful relationships and help foster their growth and development. I started working with kids 10 years ago as I worked on my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I began working in a preschool with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years while in college. I then transitioned into an elementary teaching position for 3 years while also working on my Masters degree in School Counseling. Currently, I work as a school counselor in a middle school! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, go for hikes, read, and paint! One thing you should know about me is I have many years of experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds and have devoted my life's work to education and working with children. My skills include education, social emotional development, and forming meaningful relationships.
