I cared for a woman in Ashland in 2012 before I went off to CA for grad program. Gloria and I had the sweetest relationship and it was one of the most rewarding jobs I have had. I helped Gloria shower and dress, did shopping, some light cleaning and occasional light medical treatment (applying salves, etc.) I have a gift for being with the elderly. I have always enjoyed being in the company of elders and believe that special care to honor and validate them is a lost value in our culture.

Marie provides pastoral care services at our community dinners and during the time the food bank is open. She is a good listener and is eager to help folks on any journey of improvement. She leads worship once a month -- includes preaching, leading liturgy and prayers.
