About Marie

Hi, my name is Marie. I'm seeking part time employment. I've spent most of my life as a caregiver, both professionally, as a paid care person for seniors and the disabled and also personally, as a daughter and a mother. Nurturing is what comes naturally to me. I like to cook for and take care of others, especially those who appreciate it. I describe my personality as detail oriented, open, patient and capable. It's nice to work with seniors because they usually appreciate the help and offer loads of wisdom, it's a win-win. I'm looking for a job that is in service to others because that's what makes me feel good, it adds meaning and import to my life. The first senior I cared for was Chris. I washed and brushed her hair, gave her pedicures, prepared her meals and medications, massaged her feet and helped her get outside in her wheelchair when the weather permitted. In my spare time, I like to walk my dog Milo, cook, dance Zumba and garden. Thank you for your consideration.
