About Maricruz

My name is Maricruz, and I am originally from Colombia. I currently work as a Spanish teacher at Cherokee High School. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language Teaching, and I am pursuing a Master's degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I moved to the United States eight years ago, where I began my career as a babysitter and infant caregiver in daycare centers. I later worked as a Georgia Pre-K teacher before certifying my teaching credentials in the U. S. With over five years of experience in teaching and tutoring children, I am passionate about helping students develop their Spanish language skills while fostering a love for the language and culture. My diverse background in early childhood education and language instruction equips me to provide engaging, effective, and personalized learning experiences tailored to each student's needs.
