About Maribel

I've taken care of children who are learning how to crawl and walk and those who can run and climb. Regardless of their milestones my top priority is always their safety. I have my Bachelor's Degree In Child And Adolescent Development and I use my knowledge to incorporate both fun and education during play. I am attentive to a child's curiosity because I believe that every moment can be a learning experience. I have experience taking care of children in various settings; clinic, school and home. In the clinic setting, I used play therapy to help children with ASD strengthen their social-emotional development. I have worked in public schools as a teacher's assistant and as an intern helping kindergarten students. In home settings I have been responsible for pickups and drop-offs, preparing light meals, changing diapers, helping with homework, and nighttime routines. Playing outdoors, taking walks, library outings, baking coloring are just some of the activities I share with children.
