I've taken care of different sizes of dogs, cats, birds, and even an iguana. Love animals, they aren't pets, they're family. They can turn your day around just by their presence. I have a 14-year-old pitty myself and he's the love of my life. He's a spoiled brat; I think all animals should be spoiled. You could find us at the park every day of the week, me sitting on my beach chair reading and him next to me dog/people watching. It's the best time of the day. We grew up with always having at least one type of animal in our home. At one point, we even had a duck. My dad built us a 10x10x10 bird house that is still standing to this day. The worst was when my sister left the mice cage open and they got out, but lesson learned. My mom never knew how to say no to us when it came to us bringing home an animal. I don't have a single childhood memory of us not having a pet in our home growing up.
