Hello, my name is Maria. I will be a junior at Clark University this upcoming fall semester. I'm a political science major and minoring in education. I have 2+ years of experience working with special needs youth. I previously worked for an after school where I worked with children with ADHD. I have also worked helping a 16-year-old boy with autism get ready for school, preparing food, getting him on and off the bus and making sure he takes his medication. Currently, I work for Neuropath Healthcare which provide respite care and supervised recreation for youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities. And gives youth an opportunity for rest and relief, while engaging youth in therapeutic age-appropriate activities. I have two clients. An 11-year-old with Angelman syndrome and a 10-year-old with autism. I have my own car and can provide a driving record. I can also provide references, if needed. Thank you.
