Maria came into our lives at the perfect moment. She was calm, attentive, curious and always kind when caring for my friend with Alzheimer’s. Maria’s engaging ways with the client always brought smiles and laughter into whatever they were doing. Dancing, drawing, exercising or just listing to music, Maria was always focus on the client and able to navigate mood swings. Asking yes or no questions, Maria empowered the client to make decisions and create ideas of their own. I will forever be grateful for the Maria’s gentleness, hugs and laughter (so much laughter) when interacting with this very precious client.
