About Maria

I'm a school teacher with over 35 years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities. My past employment has given me in-depth experience providing services to children and adults with, and without, developmental disabilities as well as managing and organizing a variety of activities. I have developed highly effective teaching techniques and instructional methods, which have allowed me to educate all styles of learners and foster an enthusiastic and engaging learning environment. Promoting creativity and subject appreciation- while encouraging independence, are a few of the techniques that will be incorporated during our time together. Safety and assuring that your child stays active and engaged during our time together are my top priorities!
