About Maria

Hello, my name is Maria. I'm looking to care for children and nearby surrounding areas. I recently moved to Franklin Furnace from southwest Florida, where I was a preschool teacher for over 9 year. I have worked with all preschool age-groups including infants, prek, and school-age children in before and after-school care. I hoped to find some preschool work here, but with the landscape of this area being fairly rural, the amount of work of that type isn't as needed as it was in the busy location we moved from. I currently stay home with my 3-year-old son, who I'm working with to get ready for prek next fall. As a former preschool teacher, I have my First Aid, CPR, and Fire Extinguisher certifications. They are all up to date. I also have all 45 of the necessary clock hours that were required of childcare workers in Florida and hold a national CDA accreditation.
