About Maria

I am a very calm, patient, kind, and responsible 36-year-old who would love to help out with your kids when you can't be there! I don't mind cooking or helping out with the house either. I love coming up with fun activities or outings for kids. I really enjoy spending time with children and fostering creativity and a love for learning in them. I currently work as an occupational therapist 3 days per week at a pediatric clinic, and I am looking for a little supplemental income that does not come with so much paperwork. I also have a Master's degree in Family and Child Studies with an emphasis on child development. I have worked as a nanny for two different families with 3 or more children, staying with each for about 3 years, sometimes full and sometimes part time, in the different locations where I was living while in school. I have also worked as a Young Infant Teacher for a year and in a Preschool classroom for a year. References for any of these jobs are available upon request.
